From professional hair and makeup to thigh-highs, garter belts and everything in between, we’ve got you covered. All you need to do is show up and my glam team will take it from there. My studio, or as I like to think of it, my home away from home, has everything needed to create the luxurious vibe of your dreams.

Hi, I'm Amanda

I’m a wife, mother, and big adrenaline junkie. Since I was a little girl, I’ve lived life behind the lens. After leaving my full-time job to pursue my passion for photography, I tried my hand at shooting weddings, newborn babies, and cake smashes. I loved being a part of my clients’ important moments, but I quickly realized that I wanted to offer them more than the typical photography package. I wanted to be a part of a life-changing experience.

Watching my boudoir clients walk into my studio a bit timid and shy and then leave with a new sense of confidence and self-worth gives me a rush I continue to chase. My clients come to me because they are searching for a piece of themselves they have tucked away or perhaps have temporarily left behind.

We are all confident, strong, and sexy. How lucky am I that I get to remind you of that?

What’s included in a boudoir session?

We offer a full-service luxury boudoir experience. All sessions include a 90-minute directed photoshoot, professional hair and makeup services done in-studio, access to our extensive wardrobe, complimentary drinks, and same-day image reveal and ordering.

Pro tip: Don’t waste your hair and makeup on a night in. You’re going to look amazing so make sure you have a hot date that night with your partner or your friends so you can show off.

I don't know what I'm doing or how to prepare. Do you help with that?

ABSOLUTELY! I have a series of emails going over everything you will need to know to be ready for your day with me! You will receive a Dream Shoot Planner chock full of great info that answers even those most embarrassing questions you may not want to ask. You'll receive a link to my calendar to schedule your Wardrobe Consult/Meet and Greet with me (in person or zoom) and of course, I am available at any point for you to answer any question that comes up! You are welcome to text, email, or call and I will get back to you as soon as I am able with your answer!

Do you shoot couples and/or men?

Yes! I absolutely do couples shoots and shoots for men. I also shoot theme sessions (bondage, motorcycle, pinup, erotica, etc.). Be sure to check out the Specialty page here: www.amandamarquisphotography.com/specialty

Can my partner come with me to my shoot?

We understand you're nervous and having a support system with you would help ease those nerves. While we welcome guests to join you the day of your session, we do not permit your significant other during the actual shooting. We want our clients to feel open, to be vulnerable, and to step outside of their comfort zone. We also want you to be able to relax and enjoy every minute of the process. Yes, you can bring your bestie! Fully supportive female over the age of 18 to be your hype girl.

In our experience, having a significant other in the room will often make women feel inhibited and distracted. The images reflect those emotions. Think of it as a solo spa day meant just for you! Your partner is welcome during the hair and makeup portion of the shoot, but then we ask them to give you some privacy for the shoot and rejoin you for the image reveal if that’s what you would like! Trust me when I say that me and my team will make you comfortable, relaxed, and sure to have a lot of fun!

I want do this for a gift - how far in advance should I book?

I LOVE helping clients create gifts for their significant others! I highly recommend you schedule your session 6-8 weeks prior to the celebration/event date to avoid any rush fees or missed deadlines. Especially at the holidays - the pro print labs I use get really busy beginning in Oct and we dont want to miss getting this to you in time! If you're like me and dont keep secrets well, or dont know where you would 'hide' the gift until the day, you are welcome to leave it at the studio until closer to the time of the gift giving.
